Before we start
Twenty minutes on the phone
We find the 4 to 6 figures that run the business, and where they come from. You then get a fixed price in writing.

Access to the source
You send one export or give read access. The data processing agreement is signed before any data moves.

Built and reconciled
Every figure is reconciled against your own system for the same period. A figure that cannot be reconciled does not go on.

We go through it together, and whatever you will not use is removed.

A recorded walkthrough, one page defining every figure, and the model file itself. It is yours.
Every figure is reconciled before you see it
A figure on a dashboard has to mean what the bookkeeper would tell you if you asked. That is why more time goes on reconciling than on design.
Gross margin, for example, is weighted by revenue instead of averaging twelve monthly percentages. The two methods give different figures, and only the weighted one is right.

The price is agreed in writing before work starts. If you want somebody to look after the dashboard afterwards, a monthly service costs from DKK 1,500 a month with no lock-in.

Questions
Do we need to buy anything new?
Perhaps one licence, perhaps none. Power BI Desktop is free. If the report is shared with colleagues in the cloud, Microsoft requires a Power BI Pro licence per user. It comes with Microsoft 365 E5, but not with Business Standard or Premium.
Our data is a mess. Is that a problem?
It is often the job itself. If it changes the scope, you hear about it on day 1, before anything more is built.
Which systems can you connect to?
Business Central, e-conomic, Dinero, Uniconta, SQL databases and anything that can produce a CSV or Excel export. If you run something else, ask.
Who owns the result?
You do. The model file, the queries and the documentation stay with you. There is no SES Group platform you have to keep paying for.
Where does our data end up?
In your own environment wherever possible. If I need a copy, we sign a data processing agreement first, the copy is stored encrypted in the EU, and it is deleted when the job ends.
